GENE GORDON – KENPO / CQC

Biography:

In the 70′s, like most guys, Mr. Gordon was heavily influenced by Kung Fu shows (especially Bruce Lee movies and “Kung Fu” on TV).   Mr. Gordon started his formal training with Shotokan (it was the closest martial arts school to him and he could ride to it on his bike).  Training stopped in High school, as a few other things took his attention, until he was able to return to the martial arts, with Kenpo Karate, in his late 20′s.  Since then he has not stopped and has achieved a 3rd degree Black Belt in Kenpo with over 20 years of training, and fun, under his belt.  His love of martial arts and self defense has also lead him to CQC which compliments the traditional styles and makes him a better instructor.  Having taught martial arts for 15 years now he says that he enjoys his time teaching as much as he enjoys his time doing his own training.  What do you get in Mr. Gordon’s class? Well Kenpo self defense, CQC, Bruce Lee quotes, hands on practice and bad jokes which the students humor me sometimes by laughing at.  See you in there!
