Biography:
Mr. Mark Jester is a 4th Degree black belt in Kenpo. He has been teaching since 1974 giving him more than thirty-eight years of teaching experience. His martial experiences include Kajukenbo, Pentjak Silat, Chinese Kuntau, Pa qua, Aikido, Jujitsu and Judo. Under Sifu Eric Ling, his experiences included: Shaolin Lohan, Hung Gar and Sifu Ling’s family’s Fuzhou Ancestral White Crane.
Mark has worked as a police officer in Colorado and spent 12 years as a Corrections Officer in maximum-security facility where unarmed combat with convicted felons was an almost daily occurrence. He also has training in KOGA and P.P.C.T. He was a member of the Colorado Dept. of Corrections Emergency Response Team and was trained as a Crisis Interventionist and specialized in gang identification.
